Installing the Web Configuration Manager 23 8 If the 'webapps' subdirectory under the Tomcat installation directory already contains a subdirectory called '3ComIJNJ,' delete this directory. 9 Start Apache Tomcat. To do so, open a DOS command window, go to the 'bin' subdirectory under the Tomcat installation directory, type 'startup', and hit Enter. A new command window will open. At this point, your server should be configured and running. Now that your server is configured, you can use the Web Configuration Manager from any Web-enabled machine. To do so: 10 Open up your Internet Explorer or Netscape browser and point it to the following URL: http://:8080/3ComIJNJ/main/index.jsp
