107 5 Configuring the hard disk drive The system supports up to four 3.5-inch hot-swappable SATA hard disk drives. Warning: The first hard drive, located on the bottom of the HDD bay, is not hot-swappable. Adding a hard disk drive Caution: Hard drives are formatted before they are added to the server storage. Make sure that you back up any important files that are on the hard drive before you add it to server storage. 5 Configuring the
hard disk drive
The system supports up to four 3.5-inch hot-swappable SATA hard disk
drives.
Warning: The first hard drive, located on the bottom of the HDD

Adding a hard disk drive
Caution:
Hard drives are formatted before they are added to the
server storage. Make sure that you back up any important files
that are on the hard drive before you add it to server storage.
Formatting a hard drive deletes all files on the hard drive.
