2.5.2 Memory Configurations The motherboard supports system memory of up to 12GB in a two-way interleaved/non-interleaved configuration. The interleaved memory configuration requires that you install identical DDR DIMMs (exactly the same type and size) in pairs. The non-interleaved configuration allows you to install DIMMs in DDR1, DDR3, or DDR5 (see DIMM placement table). The following table lists the DIMM socket pairs and the memory modules that you can install. The system chipset only supports PC2100/1600 registered ECC DIMMs. Make sure to use only the specified DIMM types for stable system operation. 2.5.2
Memory Configurations
The motherboard supports system memory of up to 12GB in a two-way
interleaved/non-interleaved configuration. The interleaved memory
configuration requires that you install identical DDR DIMMs (exactly the
same type and size) in pairs. The non-interleaved configuration allows you
to install DIMMs in DDR1, DDR3, or DDR5 (see DIMM placement table).
The following table lists the DIMM socket pairs and the memory modules
that you can install.
