If you are having difficulty reading the LCD, try changing the contrast setting. a Press Menu. b Press a or b to choose 0.Initial Setup. Press OK. c Press a or b to choose 2.LCD Contrast. Press OK. d Press a or b to choose Light or Dark. Press OK. e Press Stop/Exit. Printer jam or paper jam B Take out the jammed paper depending on where it is jammed in the machine. a Pull the paper tray (1) out of the machine. Take out the jammed paper depending on
where it is jammed in the machine.

Pull the paper tray (1) out of the
machine.

Pull out the jammed paper (1).

Reset the machine by lifting the scanner
cover from the front side of the machine
and then close it.
If you cannot remove the jammed
paper from the front side, or the error
message still appears on the LCD
after you have removed the jammed
paper, please go to the next step.

Remove the Jam Clear Cover (1). Pull
the jammed paper out of the machine.
