UTILITY STITCHES Turn on the machine. a Attach zigzag foot "J" and sew straight b stitches up to the zipper opening. • With the right sides of the fabric facing each other, sew reverse stitches after reaching the zipper opening. • For details on basic stitching, refer to "Basic Stitching" (page 54). Attach the presser foot holder to the right side h of the pin of zipper foot "I". CAUTION ● When using zipper foot "I", be sure to use a center needle position, and slowly turn the handwheel toward you to check that the needle does not touch the presser foot.
