If a different stitch is selected or the needle hits the presser foot, the needle may bend or break. Using a basting stitch, continue sewing to the edge of
the fabric.

Press open the seam allowance from the wrong side of
the fabric.

Align the seam with the center of the zipper, and then
baste the zipper in place to the seam allowance.

Remove about 5 cm (2 inches) from the end of the
basting on the outside.

Attach the presser foot holder to the right pin of zipper
foot “I”.

Select a stitch.
