Note • If glue is used to hold the appliqué in place on the fabric, do not apply glue to areas that will be sewn with the machine. CAUTION • Do not stitch over pins. ■ Piecing Sewing together two pieces of fabric is called "piecing". The fabric pieces should be cut with a 6.5 mm (1/4 inch) seam allowance.
