Operating the Camera Using a Smartphone You can use a smartphone with EOS Remote installed to view images stored in the camera and shoot remotely. EOS Remote Main Screen The main functions of EOS Remote are described below. Touch the screen to learn the operation procedures. [Camera Image Viewing] Images stored in the camera can be viewed. Images stored in the camera can be saved on a smartphone. Operations such as deletion can be performed on images stored in the camera. [Remote Shooting] The camera's Live View image can be viewed using a smartphone. Camera settings can be changed. You can shoot using the release operation. (Settings button) Use this button to access various settings for EOS Remote. When viewable images are limited (p.81), functions of EOS Remote will be limited. Shooting may not be possible when the camera is connected to a smartphone. 78
