Shooting with the AF Lock Still Images Movies The focus can be locked. After you lock the focus, the focal position will not change even when you release your finger from the shutter button. 1 Lock the focus. ●●With the shutter button pressed halfway, press the [ ] button. ●●The focus is now locked, and [ ] is displayed. ●●To unlock the focus, release the shutter button and press the [ ] button again. In this case, [ ] is no longer displayed. 2 Compose the shot and shoot. Flash Changing the Flash Mode Still Images Movies You can change the flash mode to match the shooting scene. Changing the Flash Mode

Movies
You can change the flash mode to match the shooting scene. For details

Lift the flash.

Configure the setting.
Press the [
] button, press the [

]
buttons to choose a flash mode, and then
press the [
] button.
The option you configured is now
displayed.
The setting screen cannot be accessed by pressing the [
]
button when the flash is lowered. Lift the flash with your finger in
advance.
Auto
Fires automatically in low-light conditions.
On
Fires for each shot.
Slow Synchro
Fires to illuminate the main subject (such as people) while shooting at a
slower shutter speed to illuminate backgrounds out of flash range.
