Select to search for printers by IPv4 address. 2. Search by IPv6 address Select to search for printers by IPv6 address. 3. Search by host name Select to search for printers by host name. A host name is referred to as LLMNR host name or Bonjour name. 3. Enter IP address or host name and click Next. Printer search starts. If an error screen appears: Resolve the error according to the instruction on the screen. If the IP address you entered is already used for another device, follow the procedure below to specify printer's IP address. 1. Select Various settings on HOME screen. LCD and Operation Panel 2. Use button to select Device settings and press OK button. 3. Use button to select LAN settings and press OK button. 4. Use button to select Other settings and press OK button. 5. Use button to select TCP/IP settings and press OK button. If you specify IPv4 address: 1. Use button to select IPv4 and press OK button. 2. Use button to select Yes on displayed screen and press OK button. 3. Use button to select IP address and press OK button. 4. Use button to select Manual setup and press OK button. Selecting Auto setup and pressing OK buttons specifies the IP address automatically. 5. Enter IP address. 6. Use button to select OK and press OK button. 7. Enter subnet mask. 8. Use button to select OK and press OK button. 9. Enter default gateway. 10. Use button to select OK and press OK button. The IPv4 address has been specified. If you specify IPv6 address: 1. Use button to select IPv6 and press OK button. 489
