5 Managing the Access Point This chapter describes how to manage the Unified Access Point and contains the following sections: • Setting the Wireless Interface • Configuring Radio Settings • Configuring Virtual Access Points • Controlling Access by MAC Authentication • Configuring Load Balancing The configuration pages for the features in this chapter are located under the Manage heading on the Administration Web UI. Setting the Wireless Interface Wireless settings describe aspects of the LAN related specifically to the radio device in the access point (802.11 mode) and to the network interface to the access point (access point MAC address). To configure the wireless interface, click the Wireless Settings tab. NOTE: Figure 14 shows the Wireless Settings page for the DWL-8500AP. Figure 14.
