Example If there is a change in the running configuration, the system prompts you to save the new configuration when you reload the system using the reload command. If there is a change in the running configuration, the system prompts you to save the new configuration when you

reload the system using the

reload

command. You can also save your running configuration manually using the

copy running-config

command.

You can use the

conditional

parameter if any configuration changes made to the NVRAM, such as, stack-

group and fanout configurations, must be saved.

When you use the

reload

command after making configuration changes, the system prompts you to update the

hash for the startup configuration using the

verified boot hash

command.

Example

DellEMC# reload

Verified startup-configuration is enabled, Hash for startup-configuration is

invalid.

Please update Hash for the startup-configuration before reload.

send

Send messages to one or all terminal line users.

Syntax

send [*] | [line ] | [console] | [vty]

Parameters

Enter the asterisk character

to send a message to all tty lines.

line

Send a message to a specific line. The range is from 0 to 11.

console

Enter the keyword

console

to send a message to the primary terminal line.

vty

Enter the keyword

vty

to send a message to the virtual terminal.
