Syntax neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} timers keepalive holdtime To return to the default values, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} timers command. Parameters ip-address peer-group-name keepalive holdtime Enter the IP address of the peer router in dotted decimal format. Enter the name of the peer group to set the timers for all routers within the peer group. Enter a number for the time interval, in seconds, between keepalive messages sent to the neighbor routers. The range is from 1 to 65535. The default is 60 seconds. Enter a number for the time interval, in seconds, between the last keepalive message and declaring the router dead.
