offset-list Specify a number to add to the incoming or outgoing route metrics learned using RIP. Syntax Parameters offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out} offset [interface] To delete an offset list, use the no offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out} offset [interface] command. prefix-list-name offset interface Enter the name of an established Prefix list to determine which incoming routes are modified. Enter a number from zero (0) to 16 to be applied to the incoming route metric matching the access list specified. If you set an offset value to zero (0), no action is taken. (OPTIONAL) Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information: • For a 1-GigabitEthernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet then the slot/port information. • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information. • For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
