timers bgp Adjust the BGP Keep Alive and Hold Time timers. Syntax Parameters timers bgp keepalive holdtime To return to the default, use the no timers bgp command. keepalive holdtime Enter a number for the time interval, in seconds, between keepalive messages sent to the neighbor routers. The range is from 1 to 65535. The default is 60 seconds. Enter a number for the time interval, in seconds, between the last keepalive message and declaring the router dead.
