ENGLISH Setting the Timer The power can be set to turn on and off every day at the same time in any of five modes: tuner, CD, cassette deck, MD player and air check (recording from the radio). (Preset the AM or FM station beforehand.) TUNING UP and DOWN buttons Receiver (DRA-F100) B REMOTE SENSOR SYSTEM ON / STANDBY PHONES PERSONAL COMPONENT SYSTEM / AM-FM STEREO RECEIVER DRA-F100 TIMER TUNED STEREO AUTO TUNING DOWN UP BAND MONO / STEREO BASS TIMER DISPLAY MEMORY FUNCTION MHz TREBLE CH BALANCE L R TIMER button MEMORY button VOLUME Example: Setting the tuner to turn on at 2:35 p.m., off at 2:56 p.m. (with FM 87.5 MHz preset at channel "3") Press the SYSTEM power operation 1 switch (SYSTEM ON/ STANDBY) on the receiver to turn on the system's power. Press the TIMER button for at least 2 3 seconds to set the timer setting mode. SYSTEM ON / STANDBY TIMER TUNED MHz CH Say that FM 90.00 MHz is tuned in at preset channel number "1". TIMER TUNING 3 Use the TUNING UP and DOWN buttons to set the "TUNER" mode. DOWN UP TIMER 4 Press the MEMORY button. MEMORY TIMER Use the TUNING UP and DOWN TUNING DOWN UP 5 buttons to set the preset channel number. Flashes MHz CH 6 Press the MEMORY button. MEMORY Use the TUNING UP and DOWN 7 buttons to set the hours for the timer on time. TUNING DOWN UP TIMER ON Flashes (If the timer has already been set, that number flashes.) TIMER ON Flashes 8 Press the MEMORY button. MEMORY Use the TUNING UP and DOWN 9 buttons to set the minutes for the timer on time. 10 Press the MEMORY button. TUNING DOWN UP MEMORY Use the TUNING UP and DOWN 11 buttons to set the hours for the timer off time. TUNING DOWN UP TIMER ON Flashes (If the timer has already been set, that number flashes.) TIMER ON Flashes TIMER OFF Flashes TIMER OFF Flashes 12 Press the MEMORY button. MEMORY TIMER OFF Flashes (If the timer has already been set, that number flashes.) Use the TUNING UP and DOWN 13 buttons to set the minutes for the timer off time. TUNING DOWN UP TIMER OFF Flashes (If the timer has already been set, that number flashes.) 14 Press the MEMORY button. 15 Press the TIMER button. MEMORY TIMER TIMER TUNED MHz CH The display returns to as it was before the timer setting mode was set. Lights TIMER TUNED MHz CH Press the SYSTEM power operation SYSTEM ON / STANDBY 16 switch (SYSTEM ON/STANDBY) on the receiver to turn off the system's power. TIME TIMER OFF If the mark is displayed after the TIMER button is pressed, the timer will operate at the same times every day. To turn the timer off, press the TIMER button again to turn the mark off. The standby mark (" the TIMER button. NOTE: ") will not light if the current time is not set. If this is the case, set the current time, then press 13
