Chapter 6 Running System Diagnostics You can test the following devices using System diagnostics: System board Numeric coprocessor System memory Diskette drive Hard disk drive Serial port(s) Parallel port Video adapter Keyboard Dot matrix printer(s). See the table on page 6-7 for a list of the tests available for each device. Note The Write, read checks for the hard disk drive and diskette drive destroy data on the disk. Be sure to backup any data on your hard disk or insert a blank, formatted diskette before you run this test. Also be sure to do this if you select Run all above checks. Note
