5.2 Troubleshooting This section describes common troubles during usage and how to remedy the troubles. Before you ask for repair service, check the following flowchart to determine the trouble. If you can not resolve the trouble after following the flowcharts, please check the items in section "5.3 Before Contacting a Service Provider" on page 5-29, and then contact an authorized FUJITSU Scanner service provider. Symptom1 Scanner cannot be turned on. Is the power cord connected? NO Connect the power cord. YES NO Have you turned on the main line switch? YES NO Have you pushed the power button on the operator panel? YES NO Does the outlet where the power cord is connected have power? YES Press the "I" side of the main line switch. Press the power button. Connect the power cord to an outlet that has power. Contact an authorized FUJITSU Scanner service provider. 5-8 5.2 Troubleshooting
