Hard drive problems The system does not recognize the SCSI drive. Probable cause Solution The SCSI chain is not properly terminated Make sure the last device on the SCSI chain is properly terminated. Hard drive problems
The system does not recognize the SCSI drive.
The system does not recognize the IDE drive.
Probable cause
Solution
The SCSI chain is not
properly terminated
Make sure the last device on the SCSI chain
is properly terminated.
The drive is configured with a
conflicting SCSI address
Change the device’s SCSI address to one that
is not currently being used by the system.
The cables are not connected
correctly
Open the system and make sure the cable
connections are correct.

Restart your server, then press
