Software Installation Overview for Macintosh Single Users Read this overview if you are a single user whose Macintosh computer is the only one connected to the printer and the computer is connected to the printer by a LocalTalk or EtherTalk cable. 1 Set up the AppleTalk (or Network) Chooser for either an EtherTalk connection or a LocalTalk (Printer Port) connection. 2 Install the software and the online user guide (optional) on the computer that is connected to the printer.
