Note q Do not install the online user guide on the client's workstation if you installed it on a public drive. To install the end-user software onto a Windows NT workstation, you must have ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEGES on that workstation. q Users of a shared network version of Windows can install only those software components that the network administrator installed during the network administrator installation. For example, if the network administrator did not install the HP FontSmart utility, then the HP FontSmart utility will not install on client workstations. q For a minimal install (driver only) on a Windows 3.1 or Windows 9x workstation, install using the operating system. Using the operating system installs only the Original Engineering Manufacturer (OEM) driver. For a minimal install in Windows 9x, use the Add Printer Wizard. In Windows 3.1, use the Printers icon in the Control Panel. q On a peer-to-peer network, all users who want access to the network printer may need to install the HP JetAdmin software on their workstations.
