If necessary, clean the flat gray bar. 7 Raise the output tray. 8 Wipe the bottom of the ADF window (the clear plastic window) with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth. You may dampen the cloth with water, isopropyl alcohol, or window cleaner, if necessary. 9 To eliminate vertical streaks, clean the flatbed glass, especially near the top of the glass. CAUTION Do not use other cleaning fluids. They may damage the ADF window. Never spray cleaning fluid directly on the ADF.
