3 To replace the fuser WARNING! The fuser is very hot and can cause burns. Turn the printer off and allow the printer to cool for at least 30 minutes before beginning this procedure. 4 1 If an optional multi-bin mailbox is attached to the printer, pull the mailbox away from the printer. 2 Open the lower door on the left side of the printer. 3 If the printer contains an optional duplexer, press the green tab on the right side of the duplexer and pull the 5 duplexer out of the printer. 4 To unlock the fuser, rotate the blue levers down. 5 On the right side of the fuser, lift the large green lever to release the fuser springs. 6 On the left side of the fuser, rotate 6 the blue gear down two or three times to release the fuser.
