The registration values of the engine used to align the various color planes. The values are listed on a sticker inside the front of the printer (to the left of the printer control panel and to the right of the front door). Enter these values only when replacing the control board. Enter only 12 characters for each engine setting (0 [zero] to F). The last two digits of the engine setting might change after setting because of varying checksum values. This difference is acceptable. See ENGINE SETTING 1. The cold reset (CR) paper size is the default media size in the country for which the printer is localized. If the NVRAM SETTING menu is used to change the CR PAPER SIZE, the PAPER= setting in the Printing Menu also changes to make the new CR PAPER SIZE the default media size. Clears the printer event log. Press SELECT to enter the FORMATTER DIAGNOSTICS menu. ITEM and - VALUE + do not function until SELECT is pressed.
