endures a much bigger change. In CMY mode, it is the opposite: moving towards positive values produces greater changes than moving towards negative values. This behavior is shown in the table above where the Cyan, Magenta and Yellow boxes are more saturated (i.e. stronger) than the Red, Green and Blue boxes. This does not exclude the possibility of having slight increases in the amount of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. These are achieved through the usage of the complementary colors: for example to produce a slight increase of Yellow, you will need to modify Red and Green (in RGB) or Cyan and Magenta (in CMY). It is advisable to use only one system (either RGB or CMY) and not to mix them. If in doubt about which system to choose, you should consider that RGB is, in most cases, more intuitive.
