Spread the retaining tabs (1) on each side of the memory module slot to release the memory module. 5. Remove the module (2) by pulling it away from the slot at an angle. NOTE: Memory modules are designed with a notch (3) to prevent incorrect insertion into the memory module slot. 3. Lift the hard drive cover (2) and remove it from the computer (3). The hard drive cover is included in the Plastics Kit, spare part number 608023-001. 4. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board (1). 5. Remove the four Phillips PM2.5×8.0 screws (2) that secure the hard drive to the - HP G32-200 | Compaq Presario CQ32 Notebook PC and HP G32 Notebook PC - Maintenan - Page 63
6. Use the Mylar tab to lift the hard drive out of the hard drive bay (3). 7. If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket, remove the four Phillips PM3.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive 8.
