To specify adaptive halftoning for a job: 1. In the Job Ticket or Ticket Template, click the Page tab. 2. Set Adaptive halftoning to: ● On ● Off (default) ● Not set here. If an instruction is embedded in the incoming job file, it will be used. Otherwise, the press default it used. After the press job has been generated, you can modify the settings for adaptive halftoning by editing the job properties, which are made available by the press controller that is mapped to the press. Note that a press controller can be mapped to multiple presses. If the job is sent to a Series 2 5000 or 5500 press, the adaptive halftoning will be honored. For all other Indigo Series2 presses, the adaptive halftoning setting will be ignored because adaptive halftoning is not supported on those presses. Adaptive halftoning is implemented on the press. The setting is saved into the press job (JLYT file) and becomes part of the press job properties. To specify adaptive halftoning for a job:

In the Job Ticket or Ticket Template, click the Page tab.
