The Content Store

The HP Remote Production Client is compatible with both Windows and MacOS systems. The Content Store The content store is an internal component. In most cases, you will never have to interact with it. However, being aware of the content store helps you to understand how jobs are handled in the system. When a job is submitted, the job file plus additional VDP templates and database files are automatically placed in the content store. At the same time, the system database records the location of the files so that they can be retrieved by the RIPs. When ISV job submission is used to acquire assets, the downloaded files are placed directly in the content store. The system manages all aspects of the content store. Assets may be cached for reuse by multiple jobs. The content store also manages its disk space and removes files from the system when they are no longer in use and disk space is needed.
