7 Installing Additional Power Supplies The NetServer is shipped with two power supply cages. One power supply cage contains two power supplies, and one power supply cage contains one power supply, with the empty half covered with a protective panel. The NetServer operates with just three power supplies; adding an additional power supply makes continuous operation possible if a power supply fails. Figure 7-1. Installing Additional Power Supplies
