Printer control panel The printer control panel is composed of two lights. These lights produce patterns that identify your printer's status. 1 Attention light: Indicates that the printer media input trays are empty, the print cartridge door is open, the print cartridge is missing, or other errors. See Printer information page on page 10 for more information. 2 Ready light: Indicates that the printer is ready to print.
