3. Open the paper guides completely, and then load the paper stack into Tray 1. 4. Close the paper guides against the loaded media. Load Tray 2 Tray 2 is the default (main) paper tray at the front of the product. NOTE: If you are not using Alternate Letterhead Mode (ALM), place the paper with the side to be printed on face-up, with the top edge toward the left side of the tray.
