Webcamera/microphone module Description Webcamera/microphone module Spare part number 669086-001 Before removing the webcamera/microphone module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). 5. Remove the display bezel (see Bluetooth module on page 52). Remove the webcamera/microphone module: 1. Release the webcamera/microphone module (1) as far as the webcamera/microphone module cable allows. 2. Disconnect the webcamera/microphone module cable (2) from the webcamera/microphone module. 3. Before removing the webcamera/microphone module, follow these steps:
1.

1.
Release the webcamera/microphone module

as far as the webcamera/microphone
module cable allows.
2.
Disconnect the webcamera/microphone module cable
(2)
from the webcamera/microphone
module.
3.
Remove the webcamera/microphone module.
Reverse this procedure to install the webcamera/microphone module.
