7. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (2) to which the keyboard cable is connector, and then disconnect the keyboard cable (3) from the connector. NOTE: Step 8 applies only to computer models equipped with a keyboard with a backlight. 8. Release the ZIF connector (4) to which the keyboard backlight cable is connector, and then disconnect the keyboard backlight cable (5) from the connector. 9. Remove the keyboard.
