Subwoofer Description Subwoofer (includes cable and rubber isolators) Spare part number 670733-001 Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39), and then remove the following components: a. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 46) b. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 48) c. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 57) d. Top cover (see Top cover on page 60) e. System board (see System board on page 76) Remove the subwoofer: 1. Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×6.0 shoulder screws (1) that secure the subwoofer to the base enclosure. NOTE: When removing the subwoofer, make note of the locations of the four rubber isolators (2) that are installed in the screw holes. 88 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps:

that secure the subwoofer to the
