7. Click Next>. Enter the Network settings. • You must provide the Domain Name, Preferred DNS Server IP Address or Hostname and Alternate DNS Server IP Address or Hostname. • Configure the virtual NIC port(s). Enter the details for eth0 on the Eth0 tab first. If eth1 is required, select the Eth1 checkbox and enter the details for that virtual NIC. ◦ If using DHCP, select the Use Dynamic IP Address radio button and select the network interface from the drop-down list. (This is the default setting and will be applied to both eth0 and eth1.) ◦ If using static IP addressing, select the Use Static IP Address radio button and provide the IP address, Subnet mask and Default gateway details. NOTE: If you provide an IP address for both Eth0 and Eth1 during deployment and, for some reason, the Eth0 IP configuration fails, the StoreOnce VSA is deployed but the device is not added into SEM. Use the Add function on the Device Management page in the SEM GUI to explicitly add the StoreOnce VSA into SEM. • Select the appropriate Network Interface from the drop-down list.
