At the rear of server, loosen the blue retaining screw securing the cover to the chassis. See Figure 2-16. Step 3. Slide the cover toward the rear of the system and remove from the server. Step 4. Place the cover in a safe location. Installing the Side Cover Step 1. Orient the cover on the side of the server. Step 2. Slide the front cover lip into the front vertical retaining slot using a slow, firm pressure to properly seat the cover. Step 3. Tighten the blue retaining screw securing the cover to the chassis. 42 Chapter 2

Step 1.
Connect to ground with a wrist strap.
Step 2.
At the rear of server, loosen the blue retaining screw securing the cover to the chassis. See
Figure 2-16.
Step 3.
Slide the cover toward the rear of the system and remove from the server.
Step 4.
Place the cover in a safe location.
Installing the Side Cover
Step 1.
Orient the cover on the side of the server.
Step 2.
