You should now physically remove the file from the file system. 5.7.2 Removing the default recovery log volume The procedure for removing the default recovery log volume is very similar to that for removing the default database volume. You must first have enough free space existing in the recovery log to reduce its size by the amount of the volume's size. The Tivoli Storage Manager server will move any active pages in the volume that you are removing to other volumes. Use the reduce log command, as shown in Example 5-16.
