In our example, we assume that an off-site tape is any tape that belongs to the copy storage called OFFDATA and OFFDIRS that is still available in the library, and therefore, must be moved to a separate safe location (a vault). By using the ACCESS and STATUS parameters, we can distinguish between volumes newly added to the off-site pool, which therefore need to be taken off-site, and volumes already safely off-site. These are shown in Example 13-36.
