Defining paths between Storage Agent and shared drives Now we must match the tape drives with those ones defined on the Tivoli Storage Manager server. We are using different operating systems-AIX for the server and Windows 2003 for the Storage Agent. Therefore the operating system device names for tape drives differ and we must match them according to their serial number and WWN IDs, which are always unique. Example 16-19 shows the serial number and WWNs of the tape drives on the AIX Tivoli Storage Manager server.
