11 Bluetooth® OPERATION ■■ VOX function (Continued) DDVOX-related settings You can set the "VOX.DLY" (VOX delay) and "VOX.TOT" (VOX Time-out timer) items in EXMENU. (p. 17) • VOX Delay "VOX.DLY" The VOX delay is the amount of time the transmitter stays ON after you stop speaking. It allows for normal pauses in speaking. • VOX Time-Out Timer "VOX.TOT" The VOX Time-Out Timer prevents accidental prolonged transmission. NOTE: While receiving a signal or sounding a beep, the transceiver does not switch to transmit, even if you speak. ■■Other headset settings DDAF Output If the "AF OUT" (AF output) item is set to "HS+SP" (Headset & Speaker), you can hear audio from both a connected Bluetooth® headset and the transceiver's speaker. qqPush [MENU ]C. • Enters the MENU mode. wwRotate [DIAL]S to select "AF OUT" (AF output).
