2 BASIC OPERATION Turning the power ON or OFF DDTurning ON the radar 1. Push [ ] to turn ON the radar. •• The magnetron inside the scanner unit warms up for 90 seconds, and the warm-up time is counted down on the screen. •• After the countdown is completed, the radar enters the Standby mode. 2. Push [TX (SAVE)]/[ ] to start scanning. •• Target and heading markers are displayed. •• When the TUNE setting in the Video menu is set to "Auto," the screen is displayed approximately 2 seconds after turning on the radar. Turning ON the radar
1. Push [
] to turn ON the radar.
The magnetron inside the scanner unit warms up for
90 seconds, and the warm-up time is counted down
on the screen.
After the countdown is completed, the radar enters
the Standby mode.
2. Push [TX (SAVE)]/[
] to start scanning.
Target and heading markers are displayed.
When the TUNE setting in the Video menu is set
to “Auto,” the screen is displayed approximately 2
seconds after turning on the radar.
NOTE:
At the first turning on the radar or after
resetting it to the factory default, the Initial Setting
screen is displayed. Push [▲] or [▼] to select a
language, and then push [ENTER].
