5. Insert the bootable BIOS upgrade floppy disk into floppy drive A. 6. Replace the cover, turn on the computer, and allow it to boot. 7. Reconnect the AC power cord and turn on the computer. The recovery process will take a few minutes. 8. Listen to the speaker. • Two beeps and the end of activity in drive A indicate successful BIOS recovery. • A series of continuous beeps indicates failed BIOS recovery. 9. If recovery fails, return to step 1 and repeat the recovery process. 10. If recovery is successful, turn off the computer and disconnect the AC power cord from the computer.
