Be sure the cables are properly connected to the print head and printer board. Be sure the print cartridge is installed in the print head assembly. See Chapter 4, Document Printer and Patch Reader for procedures. Rear image cal unsuccessful The imaging calibration for the rear camera was unsuccessful. Clean the imaging guides and retry calibration. See Chapter 5, Maintenance, "Cleaning the imaging guides" for cleaning procedures. Refeed document set The documents are too close together as they enter the scanner. Replace the separation roller tires and pre-separation pad. See Chapter 5, Maintenance for instructions. One or more documents that passed through the transport were not scanned. Refeed all documents for which images were not obtained. A hole or tear in the document triggered a false count on the exit sensor. Align documents so that holes and tears do not pass beneath the left feed tire. The subsystem's functionality will not be available. Turn the power off and on again and perform another self-test. If the problem persists, call Service. Self-test passed Informational message. The self-test performed was successful. Sequential count overflow The sequential count overflowed. Reconfigure the scanner to allow a larger value for sequential count. Settings conflict Conflicting or unacceptable settings have been downloaded to the scanner. For example, if you attempt to set a 200 dpi bi-tonal front with a 300 dpi bi-tonal rear or if you try to enable color scanning on a Kodak i810 or i830 Scanner. A-61169 July 2003 6-9
