Your computer has two slots for installing or replacing DDR2 DIMMs (double data rate 2 dual inline memory modules) that provide up to a maximum of 4.0 GB of system memory. When installing memory modules, use the following guidelines: v Use 1.8 V, 240-pin DDR2 SDRAM. v Use 1 GB or 2 GB memory modules in any combination up to 4 GB. To install or replace a memory module: 1. Removing the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 86. 2. Lay the computer on its side. 3. Locate the memory slots.
