Removing the mailbox stand Two people are required to remove the upper portion of the mailbox stand. 1 Locate the tab on each side of the stand. 2 Push in on the tabs and lift the upper portion of the stand straight up. 3 Set the upper portion of the stand aside. 4 Remove the thumbscrews on the right and left side stand pieces.
