102 Modify settings Modify general settings Modify device lock settings 1 Select > Settings and Device lock. 2 Define the following: Autolock - Select the length of time, after which the device is locked if not used. Change lock code - Enter the current lock code (12345 by default) and the new code twice. Memory You can view the amount of available memory in the device memory, or on the memory card, and the amount of memory available for installing applications. 1 Select > Settings and Memory. 2 To view the memory consumption in more detail, select Details. To increase the amount of available memory, delete data using the file manager or other applications. TV-out settings 1 Select > Settings and TV out. 2 Select PAL (default, used in Europe, for example) or NTSC (used in North America, for example). 3 Select Save. View information about your device Select > Settings and About product. The available information includes: • Device model • Platform name and release • Software version • WLAN MAC address • Bluetooth address • IMEI address • Applicable licences • Other important information about your device Third party application settings When you install additional applications, the applications may automatically add an applet icon to the Settings folder. By default, the icons are added to the Extras group. Select > Settings and the application, and define the desired settings. Calibrate the screen Select > Settings and Screen calibration, and follow the instructions.
