Auto Speaker Setup AUDYSSEY Ambient noise is too high. Retry Cancel This message appears if the background noise is too loud and the measurements cannot be performed properly. Remove the source of the noise and try again. Retry: Return to the measured point immediately before and start set up again. The speaker may be broken or the subwoofer may be emitting sound that is too high. Make sure speakers that cannot be detected are connected property. Retry: Return to step 2 and try again. Cancel: Cancel the automatic speaker setup. ❏ Writing Error! Auto Speaker Setup AUDYSSEY Writing Error! Retry Cancel This message appears if saving fails. Try saving again. If this message appears after 2 or 3 attempts, the AV receiver/AV amplifier is probably malfunctioning. Contact your Onkyo dealer. Retry: Return to step 2 and try again. Error Messages
While the automatic speaker setup is in progress, one of
the following error messages may appear:
Ambient noise is too high.
This message appears if the background noise is too
loud and the measurements cannot be performed
properly.
Remove the source of the noise and try again.
Retry
: Return to the measured point immediately
before and start set up again.
Cancel
: Cancel the automatic speaker setup.
Speaker Detect Error
One of the front speakers has not been detected.
One of the surround speakers has not been detected.
The surround back speakers have been detected but
the surround speakers haven’t.
The right surround back speaker has been detected
but the left surround back speaker hasn’t.
There is a problem with a speaker. The speaker may
be broken or the subwoofer may be emitting sound
that is too high.
The number of speakers detected on the second or
third measurement was different to the number
detected on the first measurement.
Make sure speakers that cannot be detected are con-
nected property.
Retry
: Return to step 2 and try again.
Cancel
: Cancel the automatic speaker setup.
Writing Error!
This message appears if saving fails.
Try saving again. If this message appears after 2 or 3
attempts, the AV receiver/AV amplifier is probably mal-
functioning. Contact your Onkyo dealer.
