C.Tone Talk to the new party. • Depending on the type of your telephone, you may be able to talk to the other party using the speaker and the microphone (Off-hook Call Announcement [OHCA]), or you can receive an announcement through the handset (Whisper OHCA), if you are having a conversation using the handset. For more details on each feature, refer to "1.3.13 Call Waiting Tone", "1.3.45 OHCA (Off-hook Call Announcement)", or "1.3.77 Whisper OHCA". • The caller's name or number is displayed for five seconds in fifteen second intervals while waiting to be answered. Customizing Your Phone • 3.1.2 Personal Programming-Call Waiting Tone Type Selection If you select "Tone 1", you will hear the same tone for Call Waiting from an outside party and an extension. If you select "Tone 2", you will hear different tones for Call Waiting from an outside party and an extension.
