121 AF Adjustment You can adjust the AF focusing position. • Be sure to use [AF Adjustment] only when necessary. Care should be taken as adjusting the autofocus may make it difficult to capture images with the appropriate focus. • Any camera shake during test shooting may make it difficult to obtain the accurate focusing position. Therefore, always use a tripod when taking test shots. Shooting Functions 1 Select [36. AF Adjustment] in the [A Custom Setting 6] menu and press the four-way controller (5). 24 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [On] and press the four-way controller (5). The [AF Adjustment] screen appears. 3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Apply All] or [Apply One]. Apply All Apply One Applies the same adjustment value to all lenses. This item will appear on the display only when the lens ID is obtained. Saves and applies an adjustment value for each lens type. (Up to 20 lens types) 4 Press the four-way controller (5) 36. AF Adjustment and adjust the value with the rear Apply All +10 e-dial (S) or the four-way Apply One Unset controller (45). Available operations Four-way controller (5) or rear e-dial (S) to the right (y) Four-way controller (4) or rear e-dial (S) to the left (f) | (Green) button Reset MENU Cancel OK OK Adjusts the focus to a closer position. Adjusts the focus to a farther position. Resets the adjustment value to ±0.
