Shooting Functions 162 12 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Shake Reduction]. 13 Use the four-way controller (45) to select k or l. k: Uses Shake Reduction. l: Does not use Shake Reduction. (default setting) 14 Press the 3 button twice. The camera is ready to record a movie. When [Sound] is set to O (On), the camera operation sounds are also recorded. When recording a movie, mount the camera onto a tripod and do not operate the camera while recording. 4 Connecting a Microphone You can connect a commercially available stereo microphone (∅3.5 mm (1/8 inch) stereo mini plug) to the microphone terminal on the camera and record stereo sound. Using an external microphone can also help to reduce the possibility of recording the camera operation sounds. 1 Turn off the camera. 2 Open the microphone terminal cover and connect the plug of the microphone to the microphone terminal on the camera.
